Hello Friends,Saturday May 3, 2014, is the Jill E. Solomon bike helmet day for the White Plains Rec. & Parks Dept. This event is a great opportunity to help the children of White Plains become safer riders. All participants receive a helmet and are instructed on safe riding skills.Many volunteers are needed to make this program a success. All skill levels of volunteers are welcome! Please join us on Saturday from 10 AM to Noon to train our future safe cyclist. E-mail or call (914)946-8816, Mark J. Lalloo to confirm your assignment for helmet day. There is a job for everyone, so please volunteer.Following the end of the program, I will lead a fun “D” level ride for the volunteers, so bring your bike.I hope to see everyone in May.MJL
2014 Jill E. Solomon Bicycle Helmet Safety Day

@ Delfino Park on Lake St. White Plains, N.Y.
This is a bike safety program sponsored by the White Plains Rec. & Parks Dept. for the children of White Plains. The event is supported by the Jill E. Solomon Foundation, which provides all helmets free of cost.
On Sat. May 3, 2014, volunteers need to be at the park by 9:30 AM for assignment and instruction. During the program, volunteers are not require to ride a bike. All skill levels of volunteers are welcome!
At the conclusion of the program, I will lead D level ride for all volunteers.

1) Helmet Fitting
2) Bike & Equipment Check
3) Safe Riding & Traffic Skills
4) Learning to Ride
